Earl Warren

Chief Justice Earl Warren gave an address in Geneva, Switzerland on March 12, 1966.  His address was titled, “World Peace through World Law. He gave an address on the same topic at the Washington DC World Peace through World Law Conference held the previous year, from September 12-18, 1965.

The details of this Washington, DC conference were reported in The American Bar Association Journal, November 1965, Volume 51, page 1037.  According to the ABA Journal the top juristsand lawyers from over 115 countries were in attendance. In addition to  Chief Justice Warren, the American President Lyndon Baines Johnson  and the leader of the  World Court addressed the Conference as well.  The attendees drafted “a Declaration of Faith” in support of a world judicial system.
